Terms & Conditions

This website is owned and operated by Jet Harkema. These Terms set forth the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and services as offered by us. This website offers visitors handmade polymer clay earrings, custom jewelry, and creative workshops, all available through our online store and booking system. By accessing or using the website of our service, you approve that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Products & Services

We offer the following through our website:

  • Handmade polymer clay earrings

  • Made-to-order designs: custom earrings based on the customer's own ideas

  • Creative workshops: learn to make your own earrings from polymer clay

All jewelry is handmade, which means each piece is unique. Slight variations in color, shape, or size may occur.

2. Custom & Made-to-Order Jewelry

Customers may contact us with their own design ideas. We will then create a custom pair of earrings based on those preferences. Custom and made-to-order items take 1–3 weeks to produce before shipping. These items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged (see section 5).

3. Workshops

We offer a creative workshop in polymer clay earring making. This includes:

  • Duration: 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM

  • Includes vegetarian snacks by Vega-Luna

  • You’ll take home 2 to 3 pairs of earrings you made yourself

  • Taught in Dutch and/or English, depending on the group

  • All materials are provided – no experience needed

Workshops take place at participants' homes. The host must ensure that a conventional oven is available. Minimum number of participants is 6; maximum is 10 (depending on table space).

Booking a workshop is considered a service agreement. Cancellations must be made at least 7 days in advance for a full refund. Cancellations later than that may incur costs or be non-refundable due to preparation and reserved materials.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in euros (€) and include VAT (if applicable). Payment is required at the time of booking or ordering via available methods (e.g., iDEAL, credit card, PayPal). Prices may change without notice.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • Ready-made products ship within 1–3 business days

  • Made-to-order and custom jewelry ships in 1–3 weeks

Shipping is currently available to [insert regions, e.g., the Netherlands and Belgium]. Delivery times depend on destination:

  • Netherlands: 1–3 business days

  • Belgium: 2–5 business days

We are not responsible for postal delays or customs-related issues.

If an item arrives damaged, it may be returned for refund or exchange. Please notify us within 3 days of receipt and include photos of the damage.

6. Returns & Exchanges

You have the right to return standard (non-custom) purchases within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resellable condition. Contact us to initiate a return. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Note:

  • Earrings cannot be returned once packaging is opened, for hygiene reasons.

  • Custom and made-to-order items are not eligible for return unless damaged on arrival.

  • Workshop bookings are subject to the cancellation policy stated above.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, including images, product designs, workshop materials, and branding, is the property of Jet Harkema. It may not be copied or reproduced without written permission.

8. Liability

We are not liable for allergic reactions or injury from wearing our products. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure materials are suitable for their use. For workshops, participants are responsible for their own safety during creative activities and the use of tools.

9. Privacy Policy

Personal information provided during checkout, contact, or booking is used only to complete your order or workshop registration. We never sell or share your data with third parties unless required for payment processing or delivery.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be settled by the courts of the Netherlands.
